I started creating art as a girl, and continued throughout my career and into retirement.

See my most recent work on the What I Saw page.  These are mostly informal sketches done on site in various venues in and around New York City, from zoos to skating rinks, from beaches to museums.

The At The Zoo page holds drawings and watercolors of live animals done on site at the city’s zoos and elsewhere.

Pratt Institute in Brooklyn, New York  awarded me a Masters Degree in Fine Art in 2009. My MFA thesis exhibition comprised large, powerful and evocative figurative drawings done with pencil and eraser on frosted polyester sheets.  See some of them on the Community page.

My Bachelor’s Degree in Fine Art is from San Jose State University, where my thesis exhibition consisted of small-format intaglio prints (etchings). Several of these prints are among the work included on the Delight And Wonder page, on my connection with nature.
